ALLISON BROUGH
“Social Archaeologist”
A true lover of the arts, Allison has immersed herself in Toronto’s culture from an early age. As an active member of the Royal Ontario Museum’s Young Patron Circle, and having been on the ROM PROM, Powerball and Innovators’ Ball committees, she has proved to be a strong asset to the city’s cultural community.
Prior to Depict, Allison co-founded Chapman Brough Event Planning and Public Relations Company, in which she and her partner organized and executed over fifty events, including the DVD launch party for “Sharkwater,” the Versace fashion show, the Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup fundraiser, Murray’s House fashion show and fundraiser, Walnut Art Gallery’s Art Happening, Boobyball, the Testicle Festival. Working with clients on a variety of events, from intimate corporate to high-level, media-focus events, Allison structured numerous customized sponsorship packages and approached prospective organizations to meet client needs.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences degree from Dalhousie University’s Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology, Allison continued her studies and graduated from the Humber College Public Relations Program. Allison has used her writing and public speaking skills in both radio and television, and she has been interviewed on CBC Radio and appeared on the Toronto segment of the travel show The Digital Explorer.
